At DHL Global Forwarding, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven leader to join our organization as Head of Growth – PAC.

This is a key leadership position responsible for shaping and accelerating the Ocean Freight growth agenda across the PAC cluster. The role will define and execute growth initiatives, guide pricing strategy, strengthen tender performance and align the commercial organization around a clear direction for sustainable and profitable growth.

Working closely with Ocean Freight leadership, station management, Trade Management, Marketing & Sales, and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will translate regional priorities into effective commercial actions across countries, products, trade lanes and customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive volume growth across all Ocean Freight products in close coordination with country and regional product leadership, station management and Trade Management.
• Lead the tender and RFQ strategy, including competitive pricing, analytics, risk assessment and initiatives to improve win ratios.
• Execute the regional pricing strategy and ensure effective rate management across the PAC cluster.
• Lead cost-management initiatives, local contract negotiations and supplier-performance management.
• Identify opportunities to improve gross profit, address revenue leakage and strengthen the profitability of the customer portfolio.
• Coordinate the commercial approach for Ocean Freight products with Marketing & Sales.
• Act as a senior commercial product representative in strategic tenders and customer engagements.
• Lead the local growth framework and Route Development Management structure across Ocean Freight products.
• Enhance value propositions from product and trade-lane perspectives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the growth team, fostering collaboration, accountability and a high-performance culture.
  
  
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a results-oriented leader who combines strong Ocean Freight expertise with commercial judgment, strategic thinking and the ability to engage colleagues, customers and partners across different countries and cultures.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or professional training as a forwarding merchant.
• More than six years of experience in the Ocean Freight forwarding industry.
• Experience working in a multinational and large corporate environment.
• Successful track record in leadership roles.
• Strong customer relationships and commercial understanding.
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language.
• Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
